What You Will Do

The Channel Development Specialist (CDS) will interact extensively with the NA Parts Customer Service, Marketing, Materials Management, Operations, and Warranty Administration teams and will be responsible for proactively identifying parts sales opportunities within their base, working with the Channel Development Manager to help secure these opportunities and generating profitable growth through quota attainment for the assigned customer base

How You Will Do It

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing accounts to achieve the sales goals set for each account, increase sales and margin and make calls where and when appropriate

  • Prospect for new sales opportunities via outbound phone, email or other electronic communication

  • Follow up on open quotes to build relationships and win opportunities

  • Utilize Power BI tools to analyze sales trends with current customers to identify sales opportunities and report findings to the Sales Enablement Team.

  • Serve as a conduit between customers and Operations Team members regarding quoting, parts identification, expediting, account status, etc.

  • Oversee responses to customer orders and quotation requests for all levels of accounts received via outside salespeople, telephone, e-mail and written correspondence

  • Serve as the primary channel of information regarding marketing and training initiatives and seek to secure customer investment in these opportunities

  • Serve as account administrator and train customers on system tools (including EasyParts.com application)

  • Serve as backstop to Customer Service Management Team for escalation of customer issues and seek mutually agreeable resolutions cooperatively within the NA Parts Management Team

  • Distribute frequent customer-facing communications and occasional presentation materials

  • Partner with customers to understand unmet customer needs and conduct voice of the customer (VOC) interviews when appropriate to understand customers' pain points and gain a deep understanding of the markets

  • Fulfill occasional field requirements for customer-specific ad-hoc sales and performance reporting, recommended stock lists, marketing collateral materials, etc.

What We Look For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of aftermarket parts sales, technical sales or manufacturing sales experience OR associate degree and a minimum of six (6) years of aftermarket parts sales, technical sales or manufacturing sales experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Prior experience and proven track record of successfully working remotely showcasing strong self-discipline and the ability to meet deadlines independently

  • Proven ability to solve practical problems, develop long-term solutions and effectively communicate resolutions to customers

  • Disciplined self-starter with excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Must reside in the Central or Mountain Time Zone, or if located in a different time zone, must be willing to adjust your working hours to align with Central or Mountain Time

Preferred:

  • HVAC manufacturing experience

  • Experience using Power BI

  • Experience developing email mailing lists for marketing purposes

  • Experience using Salesforce

  • Experience using ERP/SAP

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $61,000 - 76,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)Thisrole offersacompetitiveBonusplanthat willtakeinto accountindividual,group, and corporate performance.This position includes a competitive benefits package.
