Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control in Cypress, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and team members, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in, and monitor cameras and alarms for security-related activity. You will maintain a professional presence, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, credentials, appointments, and driver paperwork; issue temporary badges and/or passes as required by site policy.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs; coordinate inbound and outbound traffic flow, including directing drivers to designated check-in, staging, and dock areas.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other access control systems; report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with scene control until relieved.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
