Instructor

Performs investigative research in the particular area(s) of study and publishes and presents data in a timely manner. Works collaboratively with an investigator, associate investigator, and/or assistant investigator in facilitating scientific research. Participates in various types of institute and community activities.

Job Responsibility

• Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Faculty Research function. Conducts independent research and/or development work as part of a major research project.
• Responsible for the collection and analysis of research data related to specific project; interprets test results and makes recommendations.
• Submits manuscripts and abstracts for publication/presentation.
• Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, correspondence, attending meetings, database maintenance, maintaining records, charts, etc.
• Responsible for all other activities, clinical and administrative, as appropriate.
• Supervises and provides technical directions to research staff.
• May apply for grant funding and/or patents as appropriate.

Job Qualification

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Science required. Faculty appointment by the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research Appointments and Promotions Committee, required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, required.
