Job Description:

Microchip Technology is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry level engineer to join our dsPIC33 marketing team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting outbound marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of the dsPIC33 product family. You will work closely with senior marketing engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies and campaigns. Your efforts will help position dsPIC33 products as leading solution in the embedded controller and microcontroller markets. In this role, you will help create compelling content, support digital marketing efforts, and interact with both internal teams and external customers. You will contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, assist with the development of promotional materials, and help coordinate events and customer engagement activities. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring consistent messaging and effective promotion of the dsPIC33 product family.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of outbound marketing campaigns to promote dsPIC33 products and solutions.
  • Support the creation, editing, and maintenance of web content, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing communications team to develop promotional materials, including email campaigns, product briefs, social media posts, and advertisements.
  • Participate in the coordination and logistics of tradeshows, webinars, and virtual events, including preparing presentations and supporting event follow-up activities.
  • Gather and analyze customer and market feedback through surveys, digital engagement, and direct interactions to help identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of sales collateral, technical presentations, and articles under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Marcom, web, and technical support, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, website analytics, and digital engagement, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to the dsPIC33 product family.
  • Support the creation of training materials for internal teams, distribution partners, and customers.
  • Assist with the organization and management of marketing assets and documentation.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Understanding of embedded controllers, microcontrollers, or semiconductor products is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative on assigned tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to team success.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304-$143,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
