The Pharmacist is a licensed professional responsible for delivering safe, effective, and comprehensive patient care. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as standards set by regulatory and accrediting bodies such as The Joint Commission. The Pharmacist performs medication management functions including analysis, verification, monitoring, compounding, and dispensing of medications. Serving as the medication management expert, the Pharmacist provides accurate and timely drug information to providers, nurses, and other clinical staff. The Pharmacist also supervises pharmacy technicians during assigned shifts and supports the training and education of pharmacy personnel. Collaboration with colleagues and a commitment to excellent customer service for patients and staff are essential to this role. Additional responsibilities may include participation in quality improvement, performance initiatives, and other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Leadership. As a successful candidate, you will:
