Certified Math/Science Teacher (Virtual/Hybrid)- AMIkids Florida

**** 6-months Temporary Education Assignment****

Position Summary

The Virtual Certified Math/Science Teacher role provides virtual instruction and guidance to Youth in accordance with their individual education plans, using applicable online platforms e.g., google classroom/TEAMS in accordance with recognized curriculum standards, and compliance with instructional guidelines as defined by the local School District and educational systems. The Virtual Certified Math/Science Teacher role partners with the Education Liaison Specialist for the State of Florida and each Director of Education/Lead Teacher at assigned programs. While this is a virtual teaching role, on-site attendance is required for student testing, staff trainings, and any other duties as assigned.

You must have:

We prefer that you have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Education and certification in the state (Florida) & area (Math/Science) in which you will teach, but we also welcome applicants who have degrees in other fields and are seeking agreements to earn in their field of study. We prefer Team Members have experience working with at-risk youth (this is not a deal-breaker), but we can also provide training to allow the right candidate to be successful in working with our young ones.
