Hours & Pay



  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire


About the Role

This position serves as the primary liaison between general contractors and logistics teams, ensuring materials, equipment, and transportation plans align seamlessly with evolving construction schedules. You'll be a trusted operational leader on-site-advocating for efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across logistics operations.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities



  • Act as the primary point of contact between general contractors and logistics teams, managing the overall project plan
  • Coordinate the flow and transportation of materials and equipment to construction sites
  • Align deliveries with changing project timelines to prevent bottlenecks and site congestion
  • Interface directly with customers to resolve issues promptly and maintain high service levels
  • Lead strategic operational planning and execution for assigned projects
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges using continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies
  • Hire, coach, and manage employee performance while fostering positive employee relations
  • Maintain open communication across teams; review operational data and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Manage profit and loss responsibilities based on the scope and complexity of the operation
  • Lead and enforce proactive safety programs in accordance with company policy, ensuring a secure work environment


Qualifications & Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Transportation Manager or in a comparable leadership role
  • Prior supervisory or people-management experience
  • Strong understanding of profit and loss management
  • Solid knowledge of safety programs and compliance
  • Preferred experience supporting logistics on large construction sites
  • Ability to leverage technology as part of daily operations
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to lead with integrity, collaboration, and operational excellence
