As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will make routine rounds of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with professional customer service. You will observe and report activity, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter, as required by the location.
  • Perform access control duties such as monitoring entry points, verifying authorization, and directing visitors and/or contractors according to site procedures.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and building systems when assigned, and communicate unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide support during tenant move-ins and move-outs, deliveries, and special events by assisting with traffic flow, elevator control, and designated access routes.
  • Identify security-related hazards and maintenance concerns during patrols and report them through the proper channels, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage.
  • Communicate clearly with property management, on-site staff, and other Allied Universal team members to support site operations and response activities.
  • Follow all Allied Universal policies and site-specific post orders, including confidentiality expectations and professional appearance standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
