As a Security Officer in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and Allied Universal procedures, and by answering questions and providing directions as needed.
• Carry out unarmed patrol duties throughout the facility, including interior work areas, exterior grounds, and parking and/or loading areas, to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor access points such as doors, gates, and visitor entry areas, and assist with visitor management processes such as sign-in, identification checks as required by site policy, and issuing temporary credentials when authorized.
• Maintain a visible presence in technology and telecommunications work environments, including offices, warehouses, staging areas, and shipping and receiving spaces, to help to discourage unauthorized access and/or theft.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, damaged property, and other irregularities, and communicate concerns to site contacts and/or dispatch per site procedure.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, medical situations, and equipment or facility issues, and request additional support when needed.
• Operate radios, phones, and/or other communication tools to coordinate patrol activities, report conditions, and relay information to supervisors and site personnel.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation with accurate details and timely submissions.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations, route control, and accountability procedures as directed by site policy and emergency plans.
• Follow confidentiality expectations for client information, technology assets, and facility operations, and report any suspected policy violations through established reporting channels.
• Participate in required training and briefings, follow uniform and appearance guidelines, and perform other duties as assigned consistent with the post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a guard card or license preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
