As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and deliveries while supporting security-related access control. You will verify credentials, manage badges and logs, monitor alarms and cameras, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Control access at the main entry by checking identification, verifying appointment details, and directing authorized personnel to the proper location.
  • Manage visitor processing by issuing and collecting visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and coordinating host notifications and/or escorts as required.
  • Monitor the lobby and reception area for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized entry through presence and adherence to post orders.
  • Operate front desk communications by answering phones and/or radios, relaying messages, and dispatching requests to appropriate site contacts.
  • Use access control systems and security-related technology to document entries, exits, and access issues, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Prepare complete and accurate written reports of daily activities, irregularities, and incident details in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements.
  • Assist with processing deliveries and service vendors by confirming authorization, directing them to designated drop-off areas, and documenting activity per site procedure.
  • Maintain professional confidentiality and follow information handling requirements common to aerospace and defense locations when interacting with personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of Security Experience.
  • Have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
