As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol common areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist shoppers and tenants with a customer-first approach, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disputes, lost children, and/or disruptive behavior, and notifying site leadership and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, loading areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance hazards, and document observations in shift logs and incident reports.
• Assist with access control at designated entrances, service corridors, and/or back-of-house areas by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and following visitor management procedures.
• Support tenant and property management requests such as providing escorts, responding to door alarms, and/or helping coordinate closing and opening procedures.
• Operate and observe surveillance cameras and/or alarm monitoring systems when assigned, and communicate findings to site leadership.
• Enforce site rules and post orders in a professional manner, including addressing loitering, trespassing, and/or prohibited conduct and requesting compliance.
• Communicate clearly with property staff, retail tenants, and/or other Allied Universal team members via radio, phone, and written reports to support coordinated response.

Minimum Requirements:

• - CPR certification preferred and may be completed post hire.
• - Guard card and/or license preferred.
• - Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• - Comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.
• - Customer service experience preferred.
• - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
