Job Description




As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver- Chemical Facility in Sheboygan Falls, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, support access control, and document security-related activity using site technology. Your visible presence and strong customer service can help to deter unwanted behavior while you communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, tank farms, warehouses, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Control access at gates, doors, and other entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and exit logs.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems when assigned, report irregular activity, and document observations per site policy.
  • Support chemical and petrochemical location requirements by observing for restricted-area violations, vehicle and pedestrian rule compliance, and unusual conditions near hazardous materials areas, then reporting findings through the appropriate chain of command.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and maintain required logs such as patrol checks, key control, and equipment sign-out.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel, contractors, and delivery drivers regarding routing, staging areas, and access permissions, escalating concerns when needed.
  • Perform inspections of doors, gates, and critical checkpoints during rounds and report maintenance and/or access control issues.
  • Follow post orders regarding radios and/or phone communications, including periodic check-ins and timely notifications to supervisors and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
