As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support guests and tenants with professional customer service, clear communication, and quick reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail mall setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and property-related concerns, and notify management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and service corridors to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for suspicious behavior and policy violations, and take appropriate action consistent with post orders and local requirements.
• Provide access control support by checking doors, verifying authorized entry to restricted areas, and assisting with key and/or badge procedures as directed by site policy.
• Write detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, including descriptions of individuals, actions taken, and follow-up notifications.
• Assist with crowd management during peak shopping hours and special events, including helping to manage lines, directing foot traffic, and supporting store personnel with customer-related concerns.
• Perform routine checks of fire doors, emergency exits, and alarmed points, and report irregularities to the appropriate contacts.
• Operate communication equipment and/or security-related systems such as radios and CCTV when assigned, and relay accurate information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Support lost and found procedures, provide directions and assistance to guests, and promote a professional, welcoming presence in the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
