Job Description

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Getting Patients Ready to Shine - Prep charts, check vitals, and set the stage for great care!
  • Hands-On Clinical Work - Administer meds, give immunizations, collect specimens, and assist with minor procedures like wound care, suture removal, and more.
  • Tech Savvy & Detail-Oriented - Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Team Player Extraordinaire - Support providers, participate in team huddles, and help keep the clinic running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Patient Educator - Help patients understand their treatment plans, new medications, and follow-up care.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA) - Required at time of hire and must be maintained.
  • Certification: Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain before starting).
  • Knowledge & Skills - Knowledge of POCT, Immunizations, and Injections - You'll be giving shots like a pro!
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills - You think on your feet and adapt quickly.
  • Excellent Organization & Time Management - You keep things running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Customer Service Rockstar - Patients feel comfortable and cared for in your hands.
  • Tech-Savvy - Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems.
  • Radiology Certification (if applicable) - If the role requires X-ray functions, you must have radiology training from your MA program or a validated competency checklist.
