PURPOSE

Coordinates the controlling, administration and maintaining inventory SKU databases, by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Enter and maintain product data into multiple ERP databases.
  • Audits product requests for accuracy such as SKU, description, conversion factor, unit of measure and cost; data varies by ERP.
  • Assigns proper codes, classifications, GL info, product sequencing, and purchasing details.
  • Works directly with location personnel, to assist in problem resolution, recommendations and general customer service issues.
  • Periodically conducts product audits to identify problems such as duplicate records, insufficient or incorrect data.
  • May assist in product mapping for conversions between ERPs.
  • Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, substitutions, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of material master data.
  • Other duties as assigned including but not limited to the management & governing of subordinate data in the overall Source to Pay process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED, with foundational knowledge of building materials.


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building material products or a related industry.
  • Strong attention to detail, with proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
