The Value Realization Office for Aon Business Services (ABS) ensures ABS initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. It coordinates and leads portfolio execution to guarantee measurable business benefits, including revenue growth, process optimization, and improved efficiency. It also ensures customers and colleagues gain maximum value from ABS capabilities and investments. . This role will report to the Value Realization Office Leader. The individual will work closely with senior ABS and Aon collaborators to define, facilitate, and lead investment planning, transformation program delivery assurance and value realization across one or more solution line / capability and/or functional areas.

Primary focus includes ensuring the delivery of tangible business value from ABS capabilities and investments including growth and margin. This role requires proactive collaboration across the matrix of Solution Lines, Regions, and other global ABS capabilities to prioritize and have responsibility for value delivery for their assigned program.

This role can be based in Aon's Chicago or New York office, or can be hybrid from the Midwest or East Coast.

  • Lead end to end planning, execution and governance of multi-year transformation program.
  • Be responsible for cross-functional teams including tech, operations, business and change management, aligning on long term business value realization.
  • Lead program interdependencies, risks and budget and delivery achievements.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to project teams involved in transformation program, ensuring initiatives are delivered with measurable impact.
  • Implement operational excellence with standard frameworks (Agile, PMP/PMI, Lean, Prosci,)
  • Establish program governance and executive updates.
  • Collaborate closely with business & functional leaders to inspire change management & stakeholder engagement.
  • Connect day-day program work to overall transformation strategy and enterprise goals.
  • Communicate effectively with the Value Realization Office leadership, conveying sophisticated program and progress reports in a clear and concise manner.
  • Be the leader with a point of view and bring in innovative thinking to be at the forefront of solving problems / conceptualizing innovative solutions.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.
  • Establish and supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards strategic goals and recommend adjustments as needed.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Master's degree in business administration, or a related field, is strongly preferred.
  • Shown success (10+ years) leading large-scale, enterprise-level transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of operating model design, process re-engineering, and digital transformation.
  • Proven ability to build and carry out a comprehensive transformation program vision that integrates technology, operations, and functional advancements.
  • Expertise in Agile and/or traditional project methodologies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable business insights.
  • A decisive leader with a strong track record of delivering value.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 to $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
