Position title: Physician Assistant Clinical Faculty Salary range:
The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and, if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $82,200 - $240,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. It consists of Admissions & Student Affairs (including Health Sciences Financial Aid), Undergraduate Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education, Diversity & Community Partnerships, Anatomical Preparation Services, Educational Computing, Events Management, the Simulation Training Center, and a central business office. The School of Medicine Graduate Programs consist of the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program, Neurosciences Graduate Program, Medical Scientist Training Program, and the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program. Responsibilities include teaching, evaluating, and advising didactic and clinical year physician assistant students. This position includes a clinical release day to provide clinical care in the USCD Medical Center system. Participation in scholarly activity, professional activity, and research is mutually agreed upon with the program director. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required. The appropriate rank and appointment will be based on the candidate's background and experience.
