About the role:

Boston Scientific is looking for high performing virtual sales representatives with a track record of success to join our team!The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) will be working with a call list provided by Boston Scientific and scheduling virtual calls to meet with physicians and provide education, identify key referral networks and determine where Boston Scientific therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.The VSR must use approved tools and resources for product promotion that will be delivered through a 100% virtual platform.

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week.


Relocation:

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Successfully completes all assigned training for the Virtual Sales Representative role as well as dedicates the necessary time to both retain and build the on foundational product and clinical training
  • Conduct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Advamed Policies, and Integrity Policies.
  • Compliance with promotional program and lunch and learns for HCPS.
  • Provide timely updates to Manager on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
  • Maintain and update current and prospective target Prescriber profiles
  • Classify customer clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care.
  • Determine where therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
  • Identify key referral networks for the assigned therapy
  • Scheduling virtual calls to meet with physicians



Required Qualifications:



  • 4 yr. degree from an accredited University required
  • Ability to:


    • Successfully complete client training and meet training expectations
    • Work a schedule that accommodates potentially different time zones
    • Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
    • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal-oriented
    • Excels in a fast-paced, competitive environment
    • Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
    • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work effectively on various assignments
    • Disciplined self-starter with the ability to work from home and flexibility for field work as required
    • Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, iPad, apps, etc.)


  • Location: Virtual Sales Representatives will be assigned a call list and will be located within the US.The Virtual Sales Representative may live outside of the designated sales territory but will be required to work the territory time zone.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2 + years of related internships, clinical and/or B2B sales experience
  • Medical device experience
  • Experience selling to cardiology, electrophysiology or PCPs
  • Results-oriented with a track record of success and an ability to drive results in a matrix environment
  • Self-motivated, disciplined self-starter with an ability to work independently
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities and growing referrals in assigned territory
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work effectively on various assignments
  • Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal and active listening skills
  • Clear, articulate, and grammatically sound speech
  • Excellent rapport building skills
  • Strong learning agility with an ability to learn, understand and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
