Role Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Information Technology and Data Analytics Office (DAO) organizations under the direction of the Sr. Finance Manager, R&D/ IT. The successful candidate will assist with the selection, reporting and analysis of IT and DAO projects. This role is also responsible for financial direction and analysis to the IT/ DAO leadership and project teams.The successful candidate will assist with managing the P&L and capital spend for the IT/ DAO portfolio areas, developing and driving financial metrics related to project execution and controlling costs

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires inperson attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing capital and expense budgets, forecasts, conducting variance analysis, preparing financial models, and providing timely and accurate reporting to IT/DAO leadership and project teams.
  • Prepare the financial analysis and planning of departmental initiatives; such as ROI project dashboards
  • Financial Analysis to include:
    • Support and participate in all aspects of financial and budgeting process
    • Develop analysis for IT/DAO spending and metrics to provide financial insights of causal factors
    • Draw conclusions from complex data and help make insightful financial decisions and recommendations
    • Interface regularly with ITLT and extended leadership team to follow-up on various requests
    • Conduct special financial studies and coordinate with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies
    • Perform internal and external economic research and analyze issues related to financial metrics
    • Compile or prepare reports, graphs and charts of data to support ongoing and ad hoc requests
    • Recommend and implement improvements in financial analysis methods or processes
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly SG&A (IT and DAO) forecasts
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of quarterly reporting to Corporate finance
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation, execution and completion of monthly close related activities

Education and Experience

  • BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science
  • 5-7 years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, including budgeting, capital planning, and investment control or portfolio management
  • Experience with IT portfolio and investment management a plus
  • Experience working in Consumer Package Goods sector a plus

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial management software (i.e. SAP and Apptio) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to work independently and set cross functional agendas
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, data and deadline-driven environment

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,500-$131,700. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
