Position Title: Business Analyst - Contact Preference Center

Location: Remote

JobOverview:

We are seeking a specialized Business Analyst with strong data literacy, customer experienceexpertise, and regulatory compliance knowledge to drive the design and implementation of Contact Preference Center. This role bridges member experience, marketing operations, data engineering, compliance, and CRM systems to create a unified platform where members can manage their communication preferences across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate combines traditional BA excellence with technical savviness in customer data platforms, consent management, and omnichannel orchestration to translate complex member experience requirements into actionable technical specifications.

Core Responsibilities

Requirements & Business Analysis



  • Conduct structured discovery sessions with MarketingOperations,Member Services,Compliance, Legal, IT, and CRM stakeholders to elicit comprehensive preference management requirements


  • Facilitate requirements workshopsto understand member interaction patterns and preference capture workflows


  • Distinguish between business requirements (member experience goals) and technical requirements (system integrations, data flows, API specifications)


  • Develop detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Technical Requirements aligned withcustomer'sdocumentation standards


  • Create comprehensive requirement traceability matrices linking member experienceobjectivesto system capabilities and data architecture



Customer Experience & Journey Mapping



  • Map current-state member communication journeys across all channelsidentifyingpain points, inconsistencies, and preference management gaps


  • Design future-state experience flows showing how members discover, access, and update preferences through web, mobile, call center, and in-person touchpoints


  • Define user personas (self-service digital members, call centerassisted, field office walk-ins) with specific preference management needs


  • Document detailed user stories with acceptance criteria covering preferenceselection, confirmation, downstream suppression, and preference change scenarios


Consent Management & Compliance Requirements



  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into system specifications


  • Define real-time vs. batch synchronization requirements for preference updates across integrated systems


  • Create comprehensive process flow diagrams for preference capture, update, synchronization, enforcement, and audit scenarios


  • Produce data dictionaries defining preference attributes, consent types, suppression reasons, and metadata fields
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives


Required Qualifications



  • 7+ years of business analysis experience with focus oncustomerfacing platforms, CRM systems, and data integration initiatives
  • Proven experience writing comprehensive BRDs, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories
  • Experience with requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Enterprise Architect)
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and BA role in agile delivery&iterative product development
  • Strong data literacy with ability to understand data models, schemas, and integration patterns
