Wenger Corporation is seeking a Production Planner to join our team in Owatonna, MN. As a Production Planner you would contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by developing and managing the master production schedule to ensure customer delivery commitments are met. This role partners with manufacturing to align production capacity, inventory, and labor planning with customer demand while maintaining efficient, reliant plant operations.



This job might be for you if:



  • MRP competency, EPICOR preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite competency



It'd be great if you also have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Statistics
  • ASCM certification



What you will do on a typical day:



  • Develops and maintains production schedule
  • Drives Plan for Every Part precision to ensure consistent and reliable supply of parts and finished goods
  • Performs statistical analysis to understand demand and optimize inventory
  • Collaborates with marketing to review and revise forecasts
  • Optimizes inventory to maximize Customer service levels
  • Active participation in SI&OP meetings
  • Identifies opportunities for inventory reduction and obsolescence
  • Plans for efficient utilization of labor resources
  • Work with Purchasing and vendors on optimization strategies
  • Utilize data and analytics to optimize supply chain and operations
