The Assistant Vice President of Community Development is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of all aspects of the Bank's CRA program in the Ohio market. This individual is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with community-based charitable, non-profit and government entities and officials, in alignment with the Bank's strategic growth andCRA strategy.

This role will work to connect with low to moderate income individuals and small businesses to promote and increase participation in the Bank's community development programs and services. In addition, this individual will conduct financial literacy and other seminars with local community groups, schools, workforce development programs and other organizations.

Education and Experience Requirements:
* College Degree required. Will consider commensurate experience in lieu of education.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related function at a financial institution or non-profit organization

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to plan and organize credit/budgeting and or related seminars and workshops.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse audiences in public forums.
* Excellent one-on-one customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
* An ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with employees and customers in a professional, business-like manner.
* A demonstrated ability to motivate others, set priorities, and make decisions.
* A willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends, as required.

Essential Functions:
* Support VP in the daily operations of the community development mission in the Cleveland Market
* Plan, organize and conduct The Way Home Program and other Bank sponsored CRA promotional efforts.
* Assist with the daily operations of the Bank's Homeownership Program.
* Conduct financial education seminars and workshops at non-profit organizations, churches, local governments and schools.
* Represent the Bank to local media and Bank sponsored events as directed.
* Serve on Advisory committees, Boards or other bodies in the community to increase the name recognition and further the mission of Dollar Bank in the communities served.
* Participate in and/or manage internal charitable campaigns.
* Support and attend outreach efforts designed to enhance the reputation of Dollar Bank in the Cleveland market.
* Identify opportunities for CRA qualified loans and investments in the Ohio market.
* Provide assistance to bank personnel to enable them to identify the appropriate point of contact for business/outreach initiatives.
* Work with VP Community Development to monitor community issues that may impact the business of Dollar Bank.

Compensation: $73,600 - $83,200
