Natural Resources Intern

Washington County, located in West Bend, Wisconsin currently has a great opportunity in the Planning and Parks Department to work in the Washington County Park System as a Natural Resources Intern. This is a temporary internship position working between the months of May and August. Selected candidate may have the opportunity to stay on into fall and winter. Duties may include park pass marketing, marketing of wedding venue/rental house/rental tiny cabins, managing social media for the department, graphic design for parks events and advertisements, assisting with the update of the Parks Fiscal Sustainability Plan, partnership and sponsorship opportunities, research, wedding venue tours, and other duties as assigned by the Business Services Manager.

Work Hours: Flexible days and hours (40 hours per week).
Salary: $13-15 / hour

Qualified candidates must possess:
*High school diploma or GED.
*Minimum age of 18.
*Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
*Must possess computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel.

Preferred candidates will possess:
*Students majoring in park management, planning, graphic design, advertisement, business marketing, or related field.
*Computer skills in graphic design programs.
