About the Role



  • We are seeking a General Labor - Production team member to join our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor Production team member, you will ensure bakery products are shaped, scored, and prepared to specification while supporting quality, efficiency, and sanitation across production areas. Your work directly contributes to producing consistent, highquality baked goods while helping the bakery meet its production goals.



Shift & Schedule



  • Shift: 3rd
  • Hours: 10:00pm - 6:30am
  • Weekend availability: Required



Compensation



  • Hourly Rate: $18.00



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Monitor and adjust scoring, shaping, and product alignment processes to meet product specifications.
  • Inspect product quality throughout production and communicate issues to line leadership for corrective action.
  • Support continuous production flow by ensuring equipment such as proofer boards, conveyors, and flour dusters operate effectively.
  • Maintain accurate line check documentation to support quality, process control, and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment across production, proofer, scoring, oven, and packing areas.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or potential contamination immediately.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through AOE tools, standard work, and problemsolving activities.



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Strong problemsolving and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks safely, including standing for extended periods and repetitive hand/arm movements.



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Prior experience in a fastpaced production or packaging environment.
  • Understanding of bakery or food manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts such as Centerline or CIL.
  • Experience monitoring automated or semiautomated production equipment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in qualityfocused environments.
