Description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship supervised by Assistant Professor Maggie Miller in the research area of low-dimensional topology. The expected opening is for Fall 2026. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to mentoring through teaching, research, and service. The initial appointment will be for one year, renewable for years two and three upon a successful first year appointment. The appointment will consist of a 1/1 teaching load per long semester. The 9-month academic salary is $70,000 annually with health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

Ph.D. by July 1, 2026.
