About This Position:

As a Diagnostic Vascular Medical Sonographer IV you will perform a full range of vascular and diagnostic ultrasound procedures in both fixed and mobile settings, following established departmental protocols. As a Level IV sonographer, you will maintain four registries, including Musculoskeletal (RMSKS) and Vascular (RVT), and demonstrate proficiency across multiple specialties such as abdomen, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and advanced vascular studies. Produce high-quality diagnostic images across complex exams including vascular duplex studies, transplant evaluations, musculoskeletal imaging, and specialty procedures. Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided interventions such as biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint procedures, and intraoperative guidance. Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and care teams to ensure accurate, timely results while delivering safe, patient-centered care. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support staff and student training, and maintain strong communication with internal teams and external partners. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed and participate in on-call coverage based on department needs.

Our experienced imaging team provides convenient procedures at outpatient locations across Lee County so your physician can put an effective treatment plan into action.Visit one of our professional, friendly imaging facilities for services of every kind, including open MRIs, digital imaging, interventional radiology, ultrasounds, and more.

What This Position Requires:

Education: Graduated from accredited or ARRT approved ultrasound program.

Experience: Two years experience as a medical sonographer required.

Certification: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support).

License: ARDMS registered in four specialties; one must be RMSKS, and one vascular. ARRT RT(VS) accepted.
