Overview

The Product Management Lead is a senior strategic role for Gilbane Development Company, responsible for driving product vision, strategy, and execution across multiple technology platforms. This leader collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders and ensures alignment with enterprise technology goals.



Responsibilities

    Defines and communicates product strategy and vision aligned with company and technology group objectives
  • Develops and maintains product roadmaps for enterprise data platforms and technology solutions
  • Manages the product lifecycle for multiple products/platforms, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization
  • Coordinates Agile portfolio operations and facilitate planning events
  • Collaborates with business owners, technology teams, and external partners to gather requirements and prioritize features
  • Ensures products meet market and business needs
  • Establishes and maintains governance frameworks for product development
  • Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Leads strategy and execution for enterprise data platforms, including data governance, integration, and analytics solutions
  • Drives adoption of data standards, metadata management, and master data management practices
  • Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform iterative improvements
  • Facilitates business process mapping, value stream mapping, and problem-solving workshops to drive operational efficiency
  • Bridges the gap between applications, solutions, and business needs, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of technology products
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in product management
  • 2+ years in a leadership role overseeing enterprise-grade business applications and technology team
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of successful product launches, lifecycle management, and team leadership
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, data platforms, and enterprise technology solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with data integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft), master data management, and data governance is highly desirable
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a technology-driven environment
  • Ability to influence and drive change across organizational boundaries
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise technology trends
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Real Estate industry specific experience and knowledge of the specific application stack (MRI, Dealpath, Nexus, Concur, etc.)

This position can be performed remotely or from any U.S. location where Gilbane has an office. Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

The pay ranges from $110,000 -$160,900 plus benefits and retirement program.
