Infor is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to join our dynamic Mongoose application team. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications in a collaborative and innovative environment. This role involves coding, debugging, and testing software to ensure high-quality deliverables, as well as have a direct impact on products used globally across diverse industries. A Day in The Life Typically Includes: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and robust software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Product Management, QA, and UX - to deliver best-in-class solutions. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Identify, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. Continuously improve existing systems and processes through innovative thinking. Engage in agile software development practices (Scrum/Kanban). Basic Qualifications: Experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with modern frameworks and tools (e.g., .NET, React, Angular, or similar). Experience with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles. Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. Knowledge of databases and SQL. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship experience or academic projects related to software development is a plus. Experience building enterprise-grade SaaS solutions. Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
