About the Hiring Group

RTI International is seeking a results-driven leader to join us as a Director, Enterprise Business Architect (G&A) within our Information Technology team. This position will be a key leader on the Corporate Platforms team and report to the Senior Director, Strategy and Architecture. The Enterprise Business Architect is responsible for executing on RTI's strategic global enterprise application roadmaps through their implementation of a complex enterprise-level application architecture. This is not a technical architect role Focus of the work includes leading a business analysis team to aligning closely with business partners, technical peers/architects, and vendors to streamline and transform our business application landscape.


What You'll Do

The ideal candidate is an outcomes-oriented person with a solid business acumen and a strong business application (Oracle Cloud) and technical proficiency. This individual will lead a team of business analysts and partner with system architects to solution, develop, and implement solution architectures across a broad range of technologies and across numerous cross-functional domains, in alignment with RTI's digital transformation objectives. This individual will need to possess a solid understanding of the Professional Services industry, and experience in Government Contracting business is strongly preferred. Candidates should have experience with overall solution architectures, inclusive of business process, application architecture, data integration architecture, and software solution architecture. This individual will also need the ability to manage execution of projects in alignment with the Strategic roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with functional business leaders for all enterprise solution architecture related matters, in alignment with business needs
  • Lead Business Process redesign sessions for current state and future state business processes; produce swimlanes and process documents in collaboration with functional team
  • Collaborate with functional team & IT peers to ensure overall success of the solutioning and implementation efforts broadly
  • Analyzes and evaluates Cloud-based business application solutions to address business problems and opportunities
  • Collaborate on creation of future state application Cloud-based business application multi-year roadmaps considering current state assessments and gap analyses
  • Partner with technical resources to design integration solutions that meet business process requirements
  • Project delivery and oversight - responsible for the development, implementation and enhancements for the architectural roadmap, inclusive of application data integrations
  • Directs, trains and develops a team of business analysis professionals
  • Manage vendor deliverables for consulting services

What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 18+ years of relevant business technology application experience OR Masters with 14+ years total experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience as Senior Manager, Business Analysis or related position with relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as it relates to architecting Cloud and on-prem legacy solution architectures (not including infrastructure architecture)
  • Minimum 8+ years' functional experience with enterprise level Oracle Cloud applications (i.e., Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, HCM, FDI) required
  • Minimum 6+ years' managing external outsourced managed services vendors
  • Demonstrated understanding of corporate functional areas (e.g., Business Development, Contracts, Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal, Communications, etc.) and related business applications. Experience of G&A corporate functions in government contracting industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Professional Services business
  • Experience with Salesforce, other related business Cloud applications strongly preferred
  • Basic understanding of project/program management skills such as planning, scope, quality, time, cost and resource management, communication and status, risk management with small-scale (<$100K) project delivery
  • Proven experience with overall solution architecture including business architecture, application architecture, data/reporting architecture, and software solution architecture.
  • Experience with planning and execution of migrating on-prem applications to Cloud environments
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners to determine sound technical solutions and application strategies considering the current internal solution architecture landscape and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solution marketplace
  • Balance of collaboration and influence to lead without control within a matrix-managed organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to succinctly present complex subject matter, specifically translating technology problems/solutions to business partners
  • Prior experience with people management, talent assessment, coaching, and performance management
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, teamwork, relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution, verbal/written communication, partnership orientation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Visio

Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States.
