Junior Power Apps Developer

Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated Junior Power Apps Developer to join our group of Information Technology professionals. The Junior Power Apps Developer supports the design, development, and maintenance of low-code business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is eager to build practical solutions, learn best practices, and grow within a collaborative IT or business systems team.

This position is pending funding approval. We are posting the role in anticipation of receiving the necessary authorization. While we are actively engaging with candidates and conducting preliminary screenings, final hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and customer approval.

You Will

• Assist in developing and maintaining applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps)
• Support workflow automation using Power Automate
• Help design and maintain data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, Excel, and SQL
• Work with senior developers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform testing, debugging, and basic performance optimization
• Maintain documentation for applications, workflows, and configurations
• Provide basic user support and troubleshoot application issues
• Follow security, governance, and development best practices within the Power Platform

You Have

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
• Basic experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
• Understanding of relational data concepts and data modeling
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel)
• Basic knowledge of formulas, logic, and expressions (Power Fx)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and take direction from senior team members
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Exposure to Dataverse
• Basic understanding of Power BI
• Familiarity with Azure, REST APIs, or JSON
• Microsoft Power Platform certification (e.g., PL-900 or PL-100)
• Internship or project experience in application development

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent practical experience
• 0-2 years of experience in low-code development or business application support
