Summary:
Develop, manage, and control processes used in the fabrication of Nuvotronics' PolyStrata technology. This role will specialize in the Planarization process. Applicable experience includes chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) and machining.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as process owner, processing product where applicable and overseeing processing when performed by others
  • Lead in the disposition of non-conforming product and in the correction of process issues
  • Create and maintain Work Instructions
  • Train and certify Engineers, Technicians and other users of the process
  • Set up and maintain SPC data collection and charting to establish process control
  • Continually review SPC, process, and product data to confirm process control and to look for opportunities for process improvements
  • Participate in design review for manufacture-ability
  • Perform DOEs for process setup and for continual improvement and process optimization
  • Play role in equipment development or selection and conduct equipment qualification for applicable processes
  • Identify and qualify alternative material suppliers as second sources or for cost reduction
  • Stay abreast of developments in applicable process technologies
  • Participate in the development of new materials and new techniques for process improvements, throughput improvements and cost reduction
  • Support Nuvotronics' product development efforts, where applicable
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, chemical, materials, industrial, physics, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in process engineering or microelectronics
  • DOE experience, ideally using the SAS JMP statistical software tool
  • Demonstrated experience in applicable process technologies
  • Good leadership, strong oral and writing communication skills
  • Enthusiastic team player, with an eagerness to develop solutions

  • Precision Machining
  • CNC Programming
Salary & Benefits:
Cubic pay range: $52,320.00 - $113,360.00 USD annual plus benefits
