Description

Markon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide expert systems engineering leadership and programmatic support to the Fort Meade Customer. The Senior Systems Engineer will plan and lead systems engineering efforts, support mission and IT programs, and apply deep knowledge of Agency processes to guide technical decision-making and program execution.



Responsibilities

    Provide programmatic and systems engineering support to Agency mission and IT programs.
  • Plan, lead, and oversee systems engineering activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives and technical requirements.
  • Develop and evaluate Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) for IT systems and operational mission capabilities.
  • Apply Agency systems engineering processes and tools to support requirements development, architecture, and integration efforts.
  • Support program execution using Agency programmatic processes and tools.
  • Communicate technical concepts, findings, and recommendations clearly to program teams, government stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Ensure systems engineering efforts are conducted with technical rigor and support informed decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph with this Customer
  • 20 years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity,
    OR 15 years of Systems Engineering experience plus a Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and leading systems engineering efforts.
  • Proven experience supporting Customer programs in a systems engineering and programmatic capacity.
  • Experience developing and evaluating Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) for IT and/or operational mission programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of programmatic processes and tools.


Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $162,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
