Johnson County Mental Health is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Mental Health Office Supervisor. The Mental Health Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, including opening and closing of the office. The supervisor oversees our Front Desk, Customer Care Center and Intake staff; ensuring that exemplary customer service is being provided and that all applicable laws and regulations are followed. The office supervisor is expected to function not only as a proficient leader, but also as a positive role model. The office supervisor will work as a working supervisor of the administrative support team at the Shawnee location. The operating hours are between 8:00am-6:00pm. This position will close on January 21st. Job Description Job Duties:
Supervises a group of clerical/accounting personnel; determines, modifies, and implements administrative policies, procedures, and methods to improve office practices; designs and uses spreadsheets and databases to interpret and organize information; provides customized reports to others in the work unit.
Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and four years of administrative support experience are required. May require KS/MO driver's license, depending on department or agency. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency. Preferred Job Requirements: Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field and one year of supervision experience are preferred. Education/Experience Substitutions: Experience may be substituted for degree. Education may be substituted for experience. Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions: All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation. | |||||||||||||||||
