As a Banquet Set-up Supervisor for the Banquets Department at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will supervise and assist in ensuring the appropriate set-up of banquet rooms according to guest specifications and Marcus' standards of quality.

What will you be doing?

* Develop and implement sustainable training and development programs in order to ensure efficient, competent, and professional service delivery

* Assist and supervise banquet set-up staff and ensure all tasks are completed

* Inspect storage facilities

* Develop working relationships with vendors and suppliers who provide services to groups and associations

* Complete visual inspection and maintenance of banquet and meeting space and check the condition of equipment

* Install phone lines in meeting rooms

* Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area

* Perform other duties as assigned

What do you bring to the role?

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Prior supervisory experience is preferred

* Ability to comprehend and communicate in English in order to provide service as requested by managers, staff, and guests

* Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
