Title: Financial Analyst - CDGS $59,200 - $65,000 / Posted Thru: 1/29/2026 Location: Remote/Virtual - Must work and live in the state of Michigan Re-occurring In-Person Meetings Required Employment Terms: This position is offered on a temporary basis for an initial six-month probationary period. During this time, the employee will participate in training and demonstrate proficiency in all essential job functions. Upon successful completion of the probationary period and satisfactory performance, the position may transition to permanent status, contingent upon:
Purpose: This position is responsible for providing financial oversight, preparing and monitoring budgets, analyzing accounts, and generating timely financial reports to support program staff while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial data management, budget preparation, and account reconciliation. Minimum 2-3 years post-degree professional experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills to support reporting and financial analysis Important Skills and Characteristics:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Constantly required to exchange accurate information. Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery. Constantly observes details at close range. Frequently remains in a stationary position. Occasionally moves about inside an office. Occasionally moves office equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. This job is performed in an indoor office environment and involves regular use of computers and other standard office equipment. The work environment may include limited exposure to moderate noise levels. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: No Assigned responsibilities.
