Location: Owatonna, MN

Shift: Weekend, Friday - Sunday

Your Responsibilities:

  • Monitors production activities toeliminatedelays and ensure adherence to production and shippingschedules
  • Assistsin carrying out productionobjectivesat the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's qualityrequirements
  • Assures safety and product quality while improving productionprocedures
  • Coordinateswork flowwith the various departments involved
  • Reports damaged and defective equipment tomanagement
  • Trains other employees inday to dayprocedures
  • Maintains quality/quantity standardsregardingoutput
  • Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and externalneeds
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assignsduties
  • Plans flow of materials through department according to workorders
  • Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines aremet
  • Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance tospecifications
  • Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products thatfail tomeetstandards
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet productionschedules
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality ofproduct
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or workcrew
  • Analyzes and resolves workproblems, orassistsworkers in solving work problems.
  • Maintains time and productionrecords
  • Assistswith capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycletimes
  • Other duties asassigned

Your Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related experiencein manufacturing
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field(preferred)
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $105,600 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
