About the Job

Location: Wilson Library - Interlibrary Loan & Digital Delivery (West Bank)

Total Hours Per Week Scheduled: 10 - 15 hours (flexible)

Work Study Requirement: Not required or preferred

Hours of Operation: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Job Duties:

  • Prepare material for shipping in campus mail and other delivery locations.
  • Process ILL returns: check-in and sort returned ILL materials, remove book strips, and prepare materials for courier or postal shipment.
  • Digital Delivery: scan the requested content from print materials. Data projects as needed.
Qualifications

Required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently and in cooperation with colleagues in a service-oriented, collaborative environment.
    Ability to lift 30lbs

Preferred

  • Attention to detail in an environment with repetitive tasks. Independent, self-starter.
About the Department

Unit Overview: Interlibrary Loan services are offered without charge by the University Libraries to promote coursework and scholarly research by providing access to materials that are not held within the Twin Cities campus collections or are currently unavailable.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $15.25/hour

Student workers are eligible to participate in the Student Health Benefit Plan, if they maintain 6 or more eligible course credits within a given semester. The same applies for Undergraduate Students, Graduate Assistants, Residents, Fellows, and Interns.
