Position Title: Forklift
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift position available at a company in Davenport, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Forklift Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Unload and load shipments, verifying merchandise against shipping documents. - Move merchandise to storage locations, properly documenting locations and reporting any shipment discrepancies. - Pick orders and prepare them for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of products. - Maintain accurate records of stock moves, receipts, and shipments using electronic tablets. - Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (only after training and certification by the client). - Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and removing debris in the warehouse. Forklift Requirements: - Previous forklift experience required. - Previous exposure to a warehouse environment preferred. - Accuracy and attention to detail required. - Ability to sit for the majority of the shift. - Ability to grasp steering wheel and controls for the entire shift. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. - Ability to stand for part of the shift. - Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. davenport@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
