Job Summary

ASML is seeking a senior production engineer for our Wilton Factory. This person will provide advanced technical oversight for manufacturing processes, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role manages complex projects, mentors junior engineers, and ensures alignment with organizational goals, driving scalability, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Review/Present structural improvements for recurring issues and implement advanced Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Champion automation and digital factory solutions for efficiency gains.

  • Drive large-scale Lean and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.

  • Identify Capital equipment needed for KPI improvements.

Manufacturing Excellence

  • Define and implement long-term process solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Drive standardization and scalability of workflows across production areas.

  • Ensure appropriate AIR creation/maintenance and drive through Issue Resolution process.

  • Role model compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Process Governance

  • Adhere to governance frameworks for tracking/driving KPIs and compliance with operational standards.

  • Developing governance around process improvements

New Product Introduction

  • Drive industrialization activities aligned to the roadmap within the workcenter for new products and anticipate factory readiness gaps.

  • Support TL/PL/GL in executive-level reviews

  • Drive the design and development of production tooling, qualification tests, and equipment calibration.

Production Support & Troubleshooting

  • Lead technical support alongside First Line Support (FLS) for advanced/integrated production issues, including the development of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.

  • Ensures all escalated workcenter disturbances are contained, root cause is identified and mitigate any repeat occurrences.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with5+ years of manufacturing experience or a Masters Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in cross-functional environments and process optimization.

  • Experience working with NPI within a production environment

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and advanced continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Fimiliarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX).

  • Familiarity with automation technologies, digital factory solutions, and data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Advanced in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar statistical software).

  • Experienced with ERP/MES systems and global industrialization strategies.

  • Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.

  • Champion of SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis methodologies.

  • Expert on process validation and equipment qualification.
