The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible faculty member at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor on the Clinician-Educator track. Responsibilities include providing inpatient and outpatient services within the academic environment of Northwestern Medicine at its central location, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, as well as contributing to the Division's translational research and educational missions.

We seek candidates with a clinical interest in medical education and medical education scholarship. Qualified candidates will have experience in both the GME and UME space and will be expected to lead quality initiatives in ICU consultation and rapid response programs. They will be expected to participate in multidisciplinary programs spanning the Simpson Querrey Lung Institute for Translational Science (SQLIFTS) and Canning Thoracic Institute.

Qualified candidates will hold an MD degree and be board-certified/eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Applicants with dual training in computational biology, neuroscience, engineering, or related quantitative disciplines are encouraged to apply.

The expected base pay range for this position is $295,000-$380,000

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
