Job Description:

We are augmenting our team and looking for a college intern to assist our engineering staff with several ongoing projects. Provide engineering project support in areas such as Chemical Lab and Defect Process Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Daily activities include working with a process engineer to complete projects critical to our production and quality goals.
  • Operate various lab equipment in the evaluation of materials or products.
  • Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment.
  • Needs to perform Defect inspection in the Wafer Fab clean room.
  • Defect tool training will be provided by FAB 5 Defect Eng.
  • Assists in disposition of product lots on hold after Defect inspection is failing.
  • Supports new Defect tool qualification.
  • Provide Process Engineering ownership for all defect inspection and review tools.
  • Monitor baseline defectivity levels to include creating experiments and continuous improvement plans (CIPs).

Requirements/Qualifications:

Desired Skills

  • Good problem-solving track record.
  • Performed routine maintenance on lab equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a clean room environment.
  • PC skills: Proficient in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Operates effectively with minimal supervision.

Education
Currently enrolled in a related bachelor's or master's degree program required. Chemistry, Physics and Electronic-Engineering preferred.
