This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of our Boston or New York office. In-office attendance is expected at least 2-3 times per week. Silicon Valley Bank's Leveraged Finance & Sponsor Coverage team provides creative debt solutions to support private equity investments in the technology sector. Primary responsibilities include leading due diligence, underwriting, execution of debt transactions, and portfolio management with a secondary focus on private equity coverage. The ideal candidate will have a background in underwriting and executing transactions for Sponsor backed transactions in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Underwriting, executing, monitoring, and negotiating transactions with a secondary focus on sponsor coverage. The ideal candidate will be able to execute transactions from initial data receipt to document negotiation and loan closing with assistance from associates and limited guidance from Directors/MDs. The team provides creative leveraged capital solutions to private equity clients in support of their investments in the technology sector. Essential Functions

Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 4 years of strong credit analysis and accounting skills or HS Diploma or GED with 8 years of strong credit analysis and accounting skills
For Boston, the base pay for this position is generally between $167,450 - $226,550. For New York, the base pay for this position is generally between $174,760 - $236,440. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
