Distribution Center Supervisor in Sparks, NV

Starting Pay Rate: $70,000-$80,000 annually

Full-Time Benefits!

Shift Monday - Friday 10:30AM to 7:00PM , over time as needed.

We are seeking a strong, dependable, and results-driven leader to join our team as a Distribution Center Shift Supervisor at The Pittsburgh Paints Co. The Distribution Center Shift Supervisor oversees shift operations to ensure safety, compliance, productivity, and team engagement. This role impacts operational efficiency, employee well-being, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities May Include

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment through proper equipment and facility upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
• Supervise and develop warehouse team members, ensuring adherence to SOPs and training requirements.
• Drive performance to meet or exceed service, quality, and cost control goals.
• Facilitate team meetings to improve communication and collaboration.
• Track productivity metrics (e.g., picking rate) and manage time reporting in Kronos.
• Coordinate with third-party staffing providers for seasonal coverage.
• Provide backup support to the Distribution/Warehouse Manager.
• Support employee engagement, 5S processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• College degree in supply chain or a business-related field (preferred)
• Experience in supply chain (distribution or manufacturing).
• Skilled in team building and engagement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
• Demonstrated capability to understand and drive key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays.
