Position Summary

The Manager of Residential Treatment is responsible for clinical oversight, staff management, financial administration, regulatory compliance, and continual enhancement of service delivery consistent with MultiCare/MBHN values and mission. The Manager's accountabilities also include program development, implementation, evaluation/monitoring along with creating an environment of hope, safety, enthusiasm, compassion and recovery.

This job participates in the Leader On-Call Rotation

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction and guidance to assigned team of staff by creating a team environment through hiring, leading staff meetings, training, recognition, evaluation and education which produces optimum work habits in accordance with MultiCare policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations; Plans staffing schedules
  • Monitors financial goals, making adjustments in staffing levels and expenses as needed to keep departments in line with established budgets of one or more 24-hour residential facilities
  • Develops and monitors quality systems to improve care provided in the facilities including documentation audits and environment of care rounding
  • Manages the development, operations, and safe/effective service delivery of programs including managing emergent needs of residents
  • Meets with other MHS staff and community agencies to develop connections that foster growth, opportunity, and continuous program improvements
  • Participates in direct care services with residents and essential departmental functions as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 yrs. experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • A Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held: Counselor Agency Affiliated Certified, Counselor Agency Affiliated Licensed, Mental Health Counselor Assoc (LMHCA), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage & Family Therap Assoc (LMFTA), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Assoc Independent Clinical Lic (LSWAIC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI)
  • Minimum seven (5) years of clinical experience working in a mental/behavioral health capacity serving children, adolescent and/ or adults
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory and lead roles; healthcare leadership a plus
  • Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum education and experience qualifications

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $100,547.00 - $144,685.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
