Position Summary

The Data Reporting Supervisor position will have a dual reporting function to the Project Manager and the Sr. Operations Manager, who is the Data Reporting Supervisor direct functional supervisor.
The Data Reporting Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring quality and time requirements are met within their team and that any issues are addressed with their personnel in a timely fashion. Data Reporting Supervisors are responsible for ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement within their respective teams. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and ensure the inspection data files and reports of structures, floating assets, pipelines, process piping and pressure vessels for facilities will be processed and finalized while meeting both client and governing authorities requirements.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL:

  • Aid in generating monthly and/or yearly financial forecasting
  • Assist in data collection for financial monthly close, including accruals, cost transfers and explanations.
  • Provide weekly/bi-weekly billing back-up to Project Managers.
  • Provide data reporting input for bids and proposals.
  • Tracks COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) data for Continuous Improvement efforts
  • Conducts audit/evaluations of processing team and assesses training and developmental needs for them as needed.
  • Keep track of received data and source documents by reviewing platform &/or circuit tracking lists.
  • Ensure data is compiled, sorted, and verified for accuracy before it is sent to data entry staff.
  • Ensuring priorities are conveyed to the team and managed in accordance with project requirements.
  • Address inquiries from fellow staff members pertaining to submitted data.
  • Communicate with inspection staff or Project Managers for questions, inconsistencies, or missing source document data.
  • Performance tracking and reporting to the Project Managers on various metrics, if needed.
  • Communicate with clients the status of reports and report completion as required.
  • Provide support to App Dev Group and other IMDS application updates and needs.
  • Communicate with other IMDS locations on office personnel resources.
  • Assist with client portal maintenance.
  • Exercises discretion, confidentiality and high technical skill in performing assigned tasks.
  • Operate independently using sound judgment and personal initiative.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by Management.

ADDITIONAL:

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • High school or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in data entry input and structural and process piping inspection reporting.

DESIRED:

  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards including API, RP, 2A.
  • Working knowledge of subsea deepwater inspections.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
