Job Description The ERP Program Manager, reporting to the Manager of IS Business Applications, leads ERP system support, including configuration, feature adoption, change management, training, testing, integration, reporting, and security. This role collaborates with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain users to gather requirements, develop solutions, resolve issues, oversee change management, coordinate testing and validation, guide strategy, and liaise with leadership. Responsibilities include prioritizing multiple projects and providing ongoing support while ensuring consistent standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Supply Chain systems.
- Act as a consultative partner to business and functional leaders to drive continuous service improvement.
- Lead governance, roadmapping, and cross-functional resource planning for Workday.
- Manage feature releases, system adoption, business case development, and system consolidation opportunities.
- Supervise system maintenance, change management, and fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Assess feasibility of system modifications and enhancements.
- Lead the Workday support team, balancing daily support with strategic projects.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance for Workday.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of system functions and processes.
- Coordinate with Workday on service tickets, meetings, and customer success activities.
- Foster continuous learning within the organization and support team.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Workday configuration, integration, reporting, and security
- Experience with Workday business process frameworks, data management, and change management
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, and validating Workday solutions
Leadership and Communication:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Ability to train and support end users
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience managing ERP systems, with at least 3 years focused on Workday (HCM, Finance, Payroll, or Supply Chain modules)
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale system implementations or upgrades
- 3+ years of direct project management experience, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex projects
Other Requirements:
- Workday certification(s) strongly preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred
- Experience in healthcare, higher education, or other relevant industries is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range: $66.85 - $100.27 USD Hourly
