For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part-time positions. Summary:

The Patient Service Specialist (PSS) plays a vital role in supporting patient access and administrative operations within MaineHealth Primary Care - Internal Medicine. This position ensures patient scheduling and referral needs are met while providing high-quality front-line patient service and general administrative support to the practice.

The PSS serves as a key point of contact for patients, coordinating appointments, managing referrals, and assisting with day-to-day office functions to support efficient clinical workflows and a positive patient experience.

• Department: MaineHealth Primary Care - Internal Medicine

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Schedule Type: Consistent (no rotating shifts)

• Location: Onsite at 8 Pikes Hill, Norway, Maine

• Remote Flexibility: This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work

• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
