A Brief Overview The DTS Sr. Manager, Collaboration Technology Product Owner leads the strategic direction, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of CHOP's collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and emerging tools like Copilot. This role ensures that collaboration technologies are aligned with enterprise strategy, user needs, and operational goals. This department works 80% remotely, 20% on site in our Philadelphia offices on an as-needed basis.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of collaboration technology products and services.
- Lead roadmap development, backlog prioritization, and vendor engagement.
- Make decisions on enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Assess change management impact and lead risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage the product budget and budget planning/forecasting
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Serve as the "front door" for collaboration technology services.
- Manage intake, consultations, and stakeholder alignment across departments.
- Collaborate with clinical, research, and business teams to identify pain points and standardization opportunities.
- Create and support an M365 and Collaboration Tool Governance Policy
- Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional product teams including engineers, analysts, architects, and vendors.
- Mentor sub-product owners and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Promote agile methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Champion digital transformation initiatives that enhance workforce productivity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and pilot new solutions.
- Align collaboration tools with broader workforce technology strategy.
- License/entitlement management as a key responsibility, with a strong HR partnership for allocation of the appropriate resources, and timely reclamation of unused resources.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience Qualifications
- At least eight (8) years Experience managing and supporting infrastructure solutions, with a focus on ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of IT operations Required and
- At least five (5) years Experience implementing best practices, and managing day-to-day operations to support organizational needs effectively Required and
- At least three (3) years Experience in a supervisory/managerial role with five or more team members in a production environment. Required and
- At least two (2) years Experience leading Infrastructure projects. Required
- At least two (2) years Proven experience in product ownership or management of collaboration platforms. Preferred
- At least two (2) years Strong understanding of enterprise IT strategy, user-centered design, and agile delivery. Preferred
- At least two (2) years Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred
- At least two (2) years Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships. Preferred
- At least five (5) years Managing a M365 deployment at enterprise scale. Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Requires operational knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills and experience in area of supervision. (Required proficiency)
- Requires outstanding verbal, written, presentation and data storytelling skills; the ability make a compelling business case and tell a story using data. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate them effectively to a non-technical audience. (Required proficiency)
- Strong at goal setting, delivery, and execution ensuring clear success metrics are identified and customer service expectations are defined, monitored, and met. (i.e., SLAs and customer service KPIs). (Required proficiency)
- Ensure that the team has an effective organizational development, training and succession plan that in aligns with our overall workforce and location strategy. (Required proficiency)
- Knowledge and experience working in and driving culture change towards working in an agile development environment. (Required proficiency)
- Experience managing large operations teams supporting Enterprise level environments. (Required proficiency)

- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) - Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) - upon hire - Preferred or

$153,140.00 - $202,910.00 Annually
