Job Title: HVAC Engineering Technician Location with zip code: East Syracuse, NY 13057 Duration: 12 months Contract to Hire Payrate: $50-$70/hr. on W2 without benefits Questions: Do you have a HSD copy or transcript? Must have OSHA 10 Hour Construction EH&S Certification, Do you have one or willing to obtain? Do you have an experience with HVAC, electrical troubleshooting or with Installation of equipment to support psychrometric testing? Role & Responsibilities: Maintenance Mechanic will provide Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) & Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) support to the HVAC Commercial Engineering team in Syracuse, NY. Maintain and upgrade electrical equipment and wiring to support LCML test lab efforts Troubleshoot electrical components and controls Moderate to complex electrical troubleshooting & problem solving Installation of equipment to support psychrometric testing and capital upgrades EH&S regulation and compliance knowledge Experience utilizing power tools and equipment affectively and safely Power industrial trucks, scissor & aerial lifts, crane and rigging. Installation of equipment to support psychrometric testing and capital upgrades Educational and Experience Required: HS Diploma/GED with 16 years exp AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training (Six-months to two years duration). (Equivalent work experience will be considered) + Minimum 10 years HVAC or maintenance experience.
