About the Position The Maintenance Supervisor is a key contributor to the execution of our Facilities Management Work Order process, responsible for the day-to-day direction and coordination of work performed by maintenance staff at various Regional Maintenance Centers throughout Maricopa County. This position will ensure that all properties are maintained to departmental expectations by providing timely responses to work orders and providing excellent leadership and direction to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. About Us As the landlord for all facilities owned by Maricopa County, the Facilities Management Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operations of more than 200 facilities comprised of over 10 million square feet. Facilities Management is made up of a collaborative team that provides and performs various functions to meet the facility-related needs of all Maricopa County Departments. We Require
Five years of journey-level trades experience, building/facility and related equipment repair, maintenance, and grounds services, which include short and long-term planning, monitoring contracts/vendors, and organizing preventative maintenance activities of multidisciplinary trade technicians High school diploma or GED
Other Requirements
Successful candidates must currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona Driver's license by the time of hire Must complete a Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and MCSO background investigation and TOC certification to access County detention facilities

Working Conditions
Exerting 50 - 100 pounds occasionally, 10 - 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 - 20 pounds constantly Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel The work will occur in an office and field environment. While performing the duties and responsibilities, the employee may be exposed to loud noise, noxious odors, unsanitary conditions, chemicals, electricity, moving mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, and other related conditions and situations. Position is subject to atmospheric conditions: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation Possibly on a rotational cycle, servicing regions and locations based on the direct need outlined by the O&M Manager and Assistant Manager
